THE POWER OF ELEMENTS.

You cannot deny woman and the powerful tie to the Earth, Moon and Sun. The waves it brings, the tides it pulls and in the heart of it ties these elements that release us to it.

I have had these powerful images of woman in my head for over a year now, and once my soul started to learn how to detox, these natural elements came into my path. In studying my heritage of being in the bloodline of native cherokee, these elements started to hold more power & significance into my being.

I have been in a season of learning to hear from nature. To sit with her, to watch her, to admire her power & strength in the softest yet most powerful ways. The range of emotions she can bring forward in one moment is astronishing.

Now, as I sit, living in a neighborhood that is cutting down trees, damming streams, and building without natures permission is one of the hardest times to watch disrespect happen to the Earth. I have spent hours crying over the land, the animals homes that have been demolished with the heartbeat of history in her dirt.

This creative project came out of my heart to remember that even when humanity thinks they call the shots..that the Earth can turn in  a moment to protect herself from us. I choose powerful and inspirational woman to come and represent each element as well as picking or building their environment to embody. Here are the stories.

Wow. The Power of Wind She lifts her hand and the birds cast flight. The operators of the heavens arise.  From sea breeze gusts to hurricane power, this element will always circulate power. Arise and honor her strength, for she is the one who catches your dreams.

Deep Water.  She keeps us balanced and cleans our bodies. She falls like rain and fills up oceans deep. The beauty of color that comes from the darkest of blues, to ivy greens and browns of earth to whitist snow.  Her power is rooted in motion. Immortal motion. She flows and moves and wraps around the Earth to bring life to all creatures.

Soil.  The growth of life to the burying of our ancestors. She recycles and changes over all climates. We stay rooted in her, holding the power and strength in minerals. She brings to life minerals, plants, life out of lungs. Stepping onto her only brings balence with everyday being a new beginning as she wraps herself as the skin of the Earth with strength in all her buried bones.

Holy Fire.  Atoning for light of the powerful Sun. She is the keeper of heat and harmony. Lighting the path to the unknown with the golden torch of destiny. She drives out fear and worry and brings confidence radiates from her skin.  She burns through the night as a constant bright sign of what is to come.
